Clear Aligner Thearpy

Clear aligner therapy uses clear, removable aligners to gradually reposition your teeth and correct alignment issues. First, we will use smile preview software to map out your new smile. This digitized version of your smile and any necessary impressions will be sent to an off-site lab where your aligners will be created. Your aligners will be given to you in sets that you switch out every one to two weeks, and you’ll visit our office for a check-up approximately every six weeks. Since your aligners are removable, your eating, speaking, brushing, and flossing habits won’t be interrupted.

Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are a popular treatment in cosmetic dentistry as they allow you to transform your smile in nearly any way possible. Veneers can correct minor gaps, chips, cracks, discoloration, and tooth shape. We’ll first remove a thin layer of enamel from your teeth to allow your veneers to sit flush upon your natural tooth. Once this is done, we’ll take impressions and have a lab create each custom veneer. After we’ve received your unique veneers, we’ll inspect their appearance and fit, then permanently bond them to the front of your tooth.

Professional Teeth Whitening

Sometimes, all your smile needs is a quick whitening treatment to leave you feeling confident again. We offer custom, take-home trays and professional strength bleaching gel to allow you to achieve high-quality results from the comfort of your own home. Whitening that’s administered by a dental professional is much safer than over-the-counter or do-it-yourself methods. The tight fit of a customized whitening tray eliminates leakage, producing better results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I need to wear clear aligners?

The duration for wearing clear aligners varies depending on the complexity of the case, but Invisalign® treatment typically lasts between 6 to 18 months. Aligners should be worn for 20-22 hours a day for optimal results. Our team will monitor your progress and may adjust the timeline based on how well your teeth are shifting.

How long do veneers last?

Veneers typically last 10 to 15 years, depending on the material used and how well they are maintained. Proper oral hygiene and regular dental visits are essential for maximizing the lifespan of veneers, and we will let you know when we believe your veneers should be modified or replaced.

Can veneers be repaired if they get chipped or damaged?

Yes, veneers can often be repaired if they are chipped or damaged. For minor chips, we may use composite resin to fill in the damaged area. However, if the damage is significant, the veneer may need to be replaced entirely to restore its appearance and function.

How long does professional teeth whitening last?

Professional teeth whitening results typically last between six months to two years, depending on factors like diet, oral hygiene, and lifestyle habits. Avoiding staining foods and drinks, and maintaining good oral hygiene, can help extend the results.

How do I maintain my white teeth after whitening?

To maintain your bright white smile, avoid foods and beverages that stain, such as coffee, tea, and red wine. Brush and floss regularly, and consider using a whitening toothpaste. Regular dental cleanings and occasional touch-up treatments, either at home or in the office, can also help keep your smile bright!
